The Comparative Study Of Perception Of Private And Public Sector Teachers Regarding Teacher’s Behavior In Classroom

Abstract

Teachers' perception is their opinion that was affected by different factors such that their jobs, workplace, and professional development. Teaching behavior should be effective in classrooms as they were the basic source of learning while classrooms were the place where teacher-student interacts. Teacher’s behavior affects students in the classroom. The purpose of the research was to examine the perception of teachers regarding teaching behavior in the classroom and to compare the perception of the private and public sectorsregarding teaching behavior in the classroom. The population was each school from the private and public sectors. The sample was the teacher from both schools (n=40) twenty from each school. Questionnaires were developed by the researcher on a five Linkert scale and data were collected through personal visits to the schools. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used by the researcher to analyze the data. There is no difference between the perceptions of both sector teachers toward the teaching behavior in the classroom.
